Safe and Sound Protocol
What is the Safe and Sound Protocol?
The SSP (or safe and sound protocol) is a tool that can be used to help clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, and trauma. People who have autism, ADHD, chronic pain, stress, or highly sensitive people may also benefit from the treatment. The SSP can be delivered in conjunction with regular psychotherapy to help clients achieve balance in their nervous system.
Is this right for me?
Adults and children who have experienced any sort of mental health distress, or any adult and/or child who is experiencing sensory difficulties, difficulty managing stress and anxiety, or who are struggling to cope with daily living.
How does it work?
The SSP is a program that accesses, activates and begins to balance the nervous by activating the vagus nerve through music. The vagus nerve is activated when the client listens to the SSP Core audio, a 5-hour program, where frequency changes in music have been designed to activate the vagus nerve and bring it into a state of balance and homeostasis. As part of your SSP consultation, a certified SSP practitioner will provide you with all the information you need to understand how the SSP can help you in your journey to healing.
